The original plan was to photograph the noodles, but that proved harder than envisaged! The noodles had a life of their own and also did not look appetising. Hence they were built in 3D which also allowed greater flexibility to position the elements as directed. The background 'placemat' was also created and rendered off before the finishing touches were carried out.
